Teaching staff may qualify with some experience of SEND but with limited SEND expertise
Many will gain some training during their career, but face challenges putting it into practice
Training modules & toolkits have their place, but often feel disconnected from the classroom experience
We develop SEND expertise, working directly with staff at all levels:

   Strategic Leadership Support

    • Supporting SLTs to develop robust systems and processes for SEND

   1:1 SENDCo Support

    • Identifying areas of need
    • Helping SENDCos address the specific challenges they face in their setting

   Teaching Staff Support

    • Working directly with teaching staff to help them address present challenges
    • Developing skilled practitioners who go on to support other staff in the setting
    • Focusing on the specific needs of the students that need support, rather than trying to fit them into a box
“I would highly recommend Angela as a highly impactful and cost-effective consultant – she has the ability to stand back and support with the strategic development of SEND and guide school teams to implement effective systems and processes” – Kathryn Shaw, Headteacher, All Saints CE Primary School, Bradford
“Angela has valuable knowledge and expertise in all areas of SEND and where specialist advice/support is required, she will signpost to the service needed – we recommend Angela to other schools and trusts” – Richard Street, Deputy Headteacher, Bramhope Primary School
“Angela’s work has had a huge positive impact on the way we view SEND in school, our provision and support for staff, children and families” – Jo Williamson, Pastoral Lead & Family Welfare Officer, St. Mary’s CE Primary Academy
“Angela has allowed me to review the procedures and policies that we use in school and to develop new ideas and strategies to better manage the SEND faculty. She is a great support in advocating for SEND to my leadership team” – Roz Hunter, SENDCo, Prince Henry’s Grammar School
Our mission is simple – to help mainstream schools and colleges grow their own SEND expertise and develop genuinely inclusive mainstream provision.
